Our mission and vision for Southern California trees
Our Mission
Do everything possible for you to make us your go-to tree service company.
Our Vision
Tree care done without shortcuts — no topping, no corners cut, and nobody on your property who is not trained, equipped and covered. We would rather be the company you call back than the cheapest quote you collect.
Certified Treecare Safety Professionals
We are a fully licensed and insured company, and the entire crew is trained to think and act safely when tending to your trees. Our accreditation comes from the Tree Care Industry Association through a rigorous application process.
Every one of our employees is on workers’ compensation. That is not universal in this trade — some companies exempt their crews rather than protecting them, which lets them undercut bids from fully covered businesses. It is also why our estimate is sometimes not the lowest one you will receive.
- Certified Treecare Safety Professional accreditation, awarded by the Tree Care Industry Association
- Licensed and bonded — California license #1002853
- General liability cover, and every employee on workers’ compensation
- The whole crew trained to think and act safely around your trees

Why Southern California property owners choose Supreme Tree Experts
Tree work goes wrong when it is rushed or under-equipped. We run our own 75-foot boom trucks, lift trucks, chippers and stump grinders, and every crew works under an ISA Certified Arborist — so the job gets done right the first time.
We hold California license #1002853 for both landscaping and tree and palm work, we are bonded, we carry general liability and every employee is on workers’ compensation.

ISA Certified Arborist
Every crew works under a certified arborist, not just an operator.

What we know about the trees in our home city
Four decades in Santa Ana, CA means knowing the rules as well as the trees. Every line below is checked against the city’s own code and its Public Works pages, and linked so you can read it yourself.
Is it your tree or the city's?
A tree inside your property line is yours. A tree between the sidewalk and the curb is a street tree, and it belongs to the city. The city can plant, trim and remove trees along streets, alleys, parkways and public land. We check whose tree it is before we give you a price.
Santa Ana Municipal Code §§ 33-182, 33-187(opens the official source)How often the city trims its trees
The city trims its street trees about every four and a half years. It keeps 14 feet of clear space above streets and sidewalks. It cares for nearly 50,000 street trees and spends over $4 million a year on them. When the city trees on a street have just been trimmed, the overgrown private trees stand out. Those are usually the ones we are called about.
SAMC § 33-189 · City street tree services(opens the official source)We never top a tree
Topping a public tree is against city code. We do not top private trees either, even if asked. A topped tree grows back with weak, upright shoots. Within ten years it is often taller than before, and the new limbs are poorly attached and more likely to break.
Santa Ana Municipal Code § 33-190(opens the official source)If it is the city's tree, call the city
Report a street tree problem to the city, not to a tree company. Use the mySantaAna app, the online form, or call the Public Works Helpline at (714) 647-3380. It is open 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday to Thursday, and every other Friday until 3 p.m. You should not pay anyone for work the city already does.

The 20 people behind the trucks in Santa Ana, CA
Family-owned and locally operated, and everyone on a job is ours. Nothing is sub-hired to a crew you have not been introduced to, which is the difference between a company and a phone number.
Field crews
The climbers, ground crew and equipment operators who do the cutting.
Estimators
The people who come out, look at the tree and price the work before anything is booked.
Arborist and tree-care professionals
Every crew works under one — they decide what comes off and what stays.
Irrigation technicians
The C-27 half of the license: the watering that keeps new planting alive.
Office and operations staff
Scheduling, permits paperwork, insurance certificates and the phone.
We own the equipment, so we never sub-hire the job
Supreme Tree Experts is a fully equipped tree company specializing in the health and beauty of your trees — tree trimming and pruning, palm work, tree removals and emergency tree service.
Every job is different. We pay attention to what kind of tree needs help and when it is best to work on it, and on a tree removal we make sure any pathogens stay isolated. Anyone can trim a tree; led by a certified arborist, we are weighing today, tomorrow and the years after that.
